The Starter House Greenhouse

These greenhouse kits are a snap to set up; no tools or special bases are required. And though the garden and nursery products are simple and convenient, they’re also durable. FlowerHouse greenhouses are made from hardy Gro-Tec, a reinforced woven polyethylene material that is UV-resistant and 100% waterproof, featuring rip-stop protection and 80% light transmission. The structures are tested to withstand winds up to 60 mph. 

The Starter House is designed for the home gardener who starts multiple seedlings at the same time, or who plans on planting a large number of indoor-started plants in the garden. This portable model has room for 16 flats of plants and seedlings. As well as starting seedlings, the Starter House is useful for giving young plants that have been started indoors a gradual exposure to the outdoors in preparation for planting (a process known as “hardening off” the plants). Try it as a pond cover for water plants as well. 

The Starter House comes with 4 large zippered windows, providing easy access to your plants. The 4 screened vents encourage proper air circulation while protecting your tender young plants from birds, insects, and other garden pests. Leave the screens open to create the optimum conditions for hardening off plants. Close screens and windows when you want a warmer, more humid environment.
